Santo Domingo.- A 19-year-old French national was arrested at Las Américas International Airport (AILA-JFPG) after authorities discovered he had ingested cocaine. The arrest was made by the National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD) and the Specialized Airport Security Corps (CESAC) during a joint inspection coordinated with the Public Ministry. After undergoing standard protocols in the immigration area, foreign bodies were detected in his digestive tract.
